Revert To Manual #2
45 MIN | 2022
The choreographer summons her spiritual mothers and fathers, and together with her partner sketches the coordinates of a life story. Kim Teitelbaum acts as the Other, allowing him to morph the story, create confusion, challenge the truth and the need for it, and put in his own memories. The reflection leaves the mirror and speaks.
The work was developed from the solo 'Revert to Manual', in which Sigal Bergman danced and Kim Teitelbaum was acting as a dramaturg and rehearsal manager. The three-year collaboration matured into a new work in which Kim changed position from spectator and advisor to impersonator and medium.
