Oktet

Since 2010, Sigal has been a member of Oktet- an improvisation collective of nine performers from varying backgrounds including theater, Contact iImprovisation, street performance and music. The group has met regularly since 2006 to dance, perform and teach together. Performances include A Moment of Birth created for the Jerusalem festival Kola shel Mila, Interstate created for the Bat Yam Festival for street performance, Present Simple an ongoing full evening performance for theater or studio setting, and The Garden a site specific performance that takes place in children's playgrounds.

In 2024 Sigal was invited to participate in a month-long residency at Villa dei Pini in Bogliasco Italy. As part of her work there she collaborated with visual artist LIU Cheng-hsiang (taiwan) on a dance video. Ocean Rhythms was created with the support of a Bogliasco Foundation Fellowship.
